Drop-in Computer Labs

There are three Drop-in Student Computer Labs in the Discovery Commons area. These rooms are available Monday to Friday from 8am to 5 pm, whenever they are not booked for classes, exams or tests. These labs are equipped with laptops and internet access. The following computer labs are available for drop-in Student use:

  • Microsoft Office Professional 2003
  • AcqKnowledge
  • APS
  • Epi Info
  • Functional Neuroanatomy
  • R
  • Refworks
  • SimBioSys
  • Tinn-R
  • WinCoot

In addition to these labs, there are also 8 computers in the Discovery Commons foyer which are available to students.  The computers in the foyer as well as the lab in MSB 3173 are available to medical students 24/7 with their access card.

Printing:
A printer is available for student use in the Discovery Commons foyer (MSB 3172) at a cost of $0.10 per page, charged to your TCard. Students can print either from a computer lab laptop or wirelessly from their own laptop; either way, the job will not print until it is verified in person at the print release station next to the printer.
