Getting Help
The Discovery Commons Service Desk provides front-line support for all the IT services provided by the Faculty of Medicine—and even for some select University IT services.
The Service Desk is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am — 5:00pm.
To submit a request, please use one of our convenient online request forms:
Computer Help Desk Support Request
For example: issues with your operating system, sending/receiving email on your mobile device or computer, connecting to the Internet, issues with software or a physical component of your computer.
For example: test scoring and scanning, booking a room, requesting a UTORid, renting a laptop.
This type of request is for anything relating to audio visual support. For example: recording a single or series of course lecture(s), creating a promotional video, booking a video conference.
Server/Network Issue Support Request
For example: disappearing departmental network drives, a blocked or duplicate IP address, moving or installing a network jack.
For example: technical support or training for one of our supported applications, information regarding existing applications.
