IP Address Allocation

IP address allocation is an essential technology service for all servers, desktops and network connected devices.  Discovery Commons provides IP addresses to allow users to connect to the Campus Network. We administer a limited pool of static IP addresses assigned by I &TS. This ensures that there are no IP address conflicts, and that there is effective routing and auditing of network traffic.

In the event that an IP address is no longer needed, it is important that Discovery Commons is notified so that it can be returned to the inventory.
