Network Management

Our team provides network management of the Faculty of Medicine network as well as management of select remote network location in hospitals and other institutions. The Discovery Commons manages 8,606 IP addresses within the Faculty of Medicine. These IP addresses are located within 37 network subnets in 14 different buildings – by far the most of any single Faculty. Discovery Commons supplies DNS entries, allocates IP addresses, investigates security issues and provides system upgrades. We also support office moves and renovations.
