What is CMS and what choices do I have for my website?

CMS stands for Content Management System. In a CMS website, the content can be easily managed online via a WYSIWYG editor on the website. Pages and user permissions can also be created and controlled by the administrator. Currently the University Of Toronto’s centrally supported CMS system is ActiveCMS; you can find out more at http://www.cmssupport.utoronto.ca/. There are also other open source CMS systems in use as well, including Joomla, Drupal, and WordPress.
