Discovery Commons has bookable multi-purpose room facilities equipped with a computer, projector, and internet access. 

Available applications to support administration and collaboration duties include QUERCUS, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive.

Ideal for lecture recordings and interviews, the Discovery Commons video studio is equipped with HD cameras, a lighting grid, green screen, professional microphones, a teleprompter, a video switcher, and streaming device for webcasts. The green screen allows for any background to be added to suit the style of your production.

The Faculty of Medicine’s Senior Promotions (Associate and Full Professor) process is managed by the Faculty’s Human Resources office, and facilitated by a workflow and document management system (Laserfiche) supported by Discovery Commons.

Discovery Commons supports the strategic use of the Learning Portal (Quercus) for courses and organizations which are included in the curriculum and not found in ROSI.
