Laserfiche maintenance - Sept 25-27, 2017

Dear Laserfiche Users,

While Discovery Commons endeavors to prevent LaserFiche failures through regular maintenance and security updates, we can only accomplish this by taking all services down for a period of time.  We will be taking the Laserfiche application offline from 9:00 a.m. on September 25 to 11:59 p.m. on September 27 to implement some important technical improvements.

With the number of concurrent LaserFiche processes running throughout the year, it has become increasingly more challenging to coordinate extended downtime for planned maintenance with our stakeholders.

The improvements we are implementing will reduce ongoing maintenance windows from days to hours and further improve our ability to restore systems quickly in the case of failure.
