AV Installations & Upgrades
Faculty and staff who would like to purchase and install technology in classrooms, conference rooms, event sites, or other departmental spaces, can contact Discovery Commons to request a consultation. Our staff evaluates the latest equipment appropriate for university environments, and can assist with both new installations and the integration of new or replacement technology into existing configurations. Discovery Commons will provide Project Management assistance with the selected AV vendor and project coordination with other departments or vendors involved in the project if required. Charges for this service vary depending on your needs. A signed Letter of Understanding (LOU) is required before the start of any project.
Because work of this type requires significant lead time, you are strongly encouraged to consult with us at least six months in advance of when the work needs to be done.
