Major IT Installations & Upgrades

Provide consultation, technical advice, and implementation support related to major IT projects such as making major departmental IT purchases, standardizing and securing all computers in a department, and the transition of departmental user accounts (email, file server) to Faculty-run services. Services can also include:

  • Analysis on whether to buy or lease equipment
  • Advice on purchasing or upgrading departmental servers.
  • Technical support for moving files from old servers to new servers

Charges for this service vary depending on your needs, but are based on our standard hourly rate, and a 15% project management fee. A signed Letter of Understanding (LOU) is required before the start of any project.
